This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low . On the other hand kick down switch malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
00628 Possible Causes:
00628 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 00628 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
