When you open please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ you can see the cylinder 4 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
00623 Possible Causes:
00623 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00623 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
