When you open intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 10 above knock threshold and exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00614 Possible Causes:
00614 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00614 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
