This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit and torque management request input signal a, low is the final reason of the code. |
00611 Possible Causes:
00611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00611 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
