The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission control unit, incorrect coded and wait then fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
00609 Possible Causes:
00609 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00609 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
