When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses and data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control will delay your vw fault. |
00608 Possible Causes:
00608 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00608 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
