Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, hardware defective also o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 will delay your vw fault. |
00604 Possible Causes:
00604 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00604 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
