00602 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift lock, open and powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
00602 Possible Causes:
00602 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00602 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
