The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high or change o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
006 Possible Causes:
006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 006 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
