This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit or change data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller will delay your vw fault. |
00599 Possible Causes:
00599 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00599 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
