00598 Possible Causes:
00598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00598 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
