Staring in engine relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance you can see the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00596 Possible Causes:
00596 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00596 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
