The problem is about starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ and wait then please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
00596 Possible Causes:
00596 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00596 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
