This something to do with the intake camshaft timing load signal, error message from ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit and idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high is the final reason of the code. |
00592 Possible Causes:
00592 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 00592 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
