Diagnosing engine bar with valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor crash shut-down activated you can see the motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00587 Possible Causes:
00587 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00587 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
