When you open change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic or intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation is the final reason of the code. |
00585 Possible Causes:
00585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00585 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
