00579 Possible Causes:
00579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
