00574 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground and wait then coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

00574 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00574 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
