The problem is about transmission range display, circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input or park/neutral switch input circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00566 Possible Causes:
00566 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00566 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
