Diameter in engine pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00558 Possible Causes:
00558 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00558 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
