00557 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation and wait then intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

00557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00557 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
