00551 Possible Causes:
00551 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00551 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
