Accumulated in electronic control units so tiptronic switch (f189), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system load signal stuck off also throttle actuator control motor, control circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00546 Possible Causes:
00546 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00546 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
