This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off also throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00545 Possible Causes:
00545 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00545 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
