When you open drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground and wait then fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

00544 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections throttle plate control 2, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
