This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles camshaft position signal output, circuit high also relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00538 Possible Causes:
00538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
