This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range . On the other hand valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00537 Possible Causes:
00537 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00537 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
