Staring in engine valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit and wait then nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00536 Possible Causes:
00536 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00536 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
