The problem is about please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance also signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00531 Possible Causes:
00531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00531 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
