The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so activation starter relay 2, short to ground and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00531 Possible Causes:
00531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00531 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
