The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
00530 Possible Causes:
00530 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00530 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
