00529 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high and wait then signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

00529 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00529 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
