The problem is about exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open or change o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00528 Possible Causes:
00528 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00528 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
