This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low also injection pump timing offset will delay your vw fault. |
00526 Possible Causes:
00526 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00526 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
