00525 Description And Summary : |

When you open starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground and wait then nox sensor bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00525 Possible Causes:
00525 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00525 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
