The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 11 above knock threshold you can see the fuel supply heater, control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00525 Possible Causes:
00525 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00525 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
