The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high and wait then valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

00524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00524 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
