The problem is about throttle position output, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic or change pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00523 Possible Causes:
00523 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00523 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
