This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00521 Possible Causes:
00521 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00521 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
