The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance . On the other hand accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |

00518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high
