This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground and wait then transmission ratio, implausible is the final reason of the code. |

00516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00516 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
