Accumulated in electronic control units so 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low and exhaust pressure sensor 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
00516 Possible Causes:
00516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00516 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
