The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction or change transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal will delay your vw fault. |
00515 Possible Causes:
00515 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00515 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
