When you open secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu or change internal control module, driver error will delay your vw fault. |
00510 Possible Causes:
00510 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00510 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
