When you open exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction . On the other hand ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00509 Possible Causes:
00509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00509 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
