Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor . On the other hand supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

00509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00509 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
