Diameter in engine shift up/down wire, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ you can see the exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |
00507 Possible Causes:
00507 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00507 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
