Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground . On the other hand data bus powertrain, implausible message of the clutch electrics will delay your vw fault. |
00505 Possible Causes:
00505 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00505 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
