00503 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 and pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00503 Possible Causes:
00503 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00503 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
