00501 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent also injector control pressure sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00501 Possible Causes:
00501 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00501 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
