This code were stamped on VW Engine case coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high you can see the charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
00500 Possible Causes:
00500 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00500 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
