This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel supply heater, control circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low . On the other hand 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
00499 Possible Causes:
00499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00499 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
