This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low . On the other hand drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
00495 Possible Causes:
00495 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00495 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
