Diagnosing engine bar with minimum throttle position, not learned to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high or intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached is the final reason of the code. |
00494 Possible Causes:
00494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00494 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
