When you open ecm/pcm power input, signal It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake water in fuel sensor, circuit high and reversing light, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00492 Possible Causes:
00492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00492 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
